I have spent a lot of time playing with dirt in the garden over the last few years, in particular, over the last year. My garden is a lot less grand than the ones in my virtual quilts, but the weeds are much more impressive, but I keep dreaming that one day the weeds will be under control, or even eliminated altogether.

read moreI used this project file while demonstrating Electric Quilt at my state guild’s Festival of Quilts years ago. A very interesting experience, trying to design quilts while chatting to friends passing by, or answering questions from other people. Most of the designs saved were ones I worked on during some of the quieter moments, when people were watching what was happening on screen, rather than asking questions.
I like both of these designs, but would modify both if they were on the list to make into real quilts.
