What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

I wish my real garden was as neat and tidy as the virtual garden! The real one is also looking a bit sun burned too.

At least my virtual gardens survive the Aussie summer looking green and healthy, and don’t require water every few days.

I have spent a lot of time playing with dirt in the garden over the last few years, in particular, over the last year. My garden is a lot less grand than the ones in my virtual quilts, but the weeds are much more impressive, but I keep dreaming that one day the weeds will be under control, or even eliminated altogether.

I used this project file while demonstrating Electric Quilt at my state guild’s Festival of Quilts years ago. A very interesting experience, trying to design quilts while chatting to friends passing by, or answering questions from other people. Most of the designs saved were ones I worked on during some of the quieter moments, when people were watching what was happening on screen, rather than asking questions.

I like both of these designs, but would modify both if they were on the list to make into real quilts.
